El distrito metropolitano de Miraflores es uno de los 43 distritos de la provincia de Lima, ubicada en el departamento de Lima. Limita al norte con el distrito de San Isidro, al este con el distrito de Surquillo y el distrito de Santiago de Surco, al sur con el distrito de Barranco y al oeste con el océano Pacífico. Se encuentra dentro del cono urbano de la ciudad de Lima, con una extensión de 9,62 kilómetros cuadrados y una población aproximada de 81 000 habitantes. Este distrito ocupa el puesto 2 en el Índice de Desarrollo Humano de los distritos del Perú, superado solo por el distrito de San Isidro.

Observen con atencion a la mujer y a la niña de 4 años que por un pelo se salvan de morir en medio de tremendo choque, sin embargo uno de los carros logra impactarlas al final, aunque fueron lesiones leves. Esquivo al primero, al segundo y el tercero los impacto.

¿CUANTAS VIDAS O CUANTA SANGRE VALE UN SEMAFORO O UN POLICIA DE TRANSITO, SEÑORES ALCALDES?

El espectacular accidente captado por una cámara de seguridad, ocurrió en el cruce de las avenidas Paseo de la República y Domingo Orué. El bus de transporte público que provocó la colisión, presentó desperfectos mecánicos (frenos); ocurrió este lunes en el distrito de Miraflores, dejando cuatro personas heridas, dos de ellas de consideración.

El accidente ocurrió luego que un bus de transporte público que cubría la ruta Chorrillos a Comas (BG-1911) y que se desplazaba de norte a sur, perdió el control debido a la rotura de la cañería de freno lo que causó la colisión múltiple, aseguró a RPP el propietario del vehículo, Federico Obregón.

Según manifestó, el conductor del bus Moisés Martínez (62) al llegar al semáforo de dicha intersección, no pudo frenar y chocó contra un auto de color blanco modelo Starlet de placa AOX-674, lo que desencadenó la colisión en serie con los otros seis vehículos que se encontraban en la parte delantera.

El un auto tico (AQM-562) y un auto, se llevaron la peor parte, sin embargo, los pasajeros se salvaron de milagro y solo presentan lesiones leves.

Humberto Moisés y Roxana Querevalú Ruiz (47) fueron trasladados a una clínica local con heridas de consideración.

En tanto, los otros dos heridos fueron llevados al Hospital Casimiro Ulloa.

La pregunta del millon es, si los bomberos son los que se cruzan con estas cosas todos los dias, y a veces en las mismas esquinas ¿Por que el jefe de cada estacion no hace publica alguna denuncia para solucionar estos problemas con policias, semaforos o rompemuelles en las zonas criticas, sin necesidad que los vecinos se junten para “pedirle por carta” al alcalde que haga algo? Es lamentable que los bomberos (y serenazgo) aparte de rescatar, aparezcan como barrenderos municipales a recoger los escombros, esperando al proximo choque, PARA REPETIR ESTO, UNA Y OTRA Y OTRA VEZ.

MANUEL BURGA EN EL CONGRESO PERUANO, eres un sinvergüenza le dicen en el congreso peruano FEDERACIÓN PERUANA DE FUTBOL .-
El resistido presidente de la Federación Peruana de Fútbol (FPF), Manuel Burga, acudió al Congreso para comparecer ante a comisión que investiga la crisis del deporte, obligado por la fuerza pública, luego de que el Poder Judicial lo ordenara ante sus reiteradas negativas a atender las citaciones del Legislativo.

El dirigente llegó acompañado por agentes de la Policía judicial, quienes se aseguraron que esta vez Burga asista a la sesión del referido grupo, que se realizó en el edificio Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torre.

Tras un inicio de sesión accidentado, Burga leyó una suerte de discurso que finalizó con el anuncio de que iba a guardar silencio ante la comisión porque los casos por los ha sido citado se están viendo en instancias judiciales. Subrayó que la FPF es una institución privada que no recibe fondos públicos.

En un momento de la sesión, cuando los ánimos ya estaban caldeados y Burga ya había dicho que no respondería, Reggiardo le cedió la palabra a su colega José Vega Antonio, quien comenzó hacer preguntas puntuales al titular de la FPF sobre los presuntos títulos falsos de entrenadores que emitiría el Instituto Alfonso Huapaya.

En ese momento, el dirigente interrumpió al congresista haciendo gestos con la mano y este explotó. “Usted ha venido citado por la fuerza, no está en la federación. ¡Usted es un sinvergüenza!”, exclamó Vega Antonio. Luego Burga se retiró de la sesión del grupo y abordó su propio vehículo.

Cabe indicar que, además del proceso por el caso del Instituto Alfonso Huapaya, el mandamás del fútbol peruano es investigado por la Fiscalía por lavado de activos.

USA”INCA”, the Peruvian Ensemble was founded in 1981 in Los Angeles, for the purpose of researching, preserving and presenting Peru’s rich multi-cultural heritage of ethnic and folkloric music, songs, dance and traditions. INCA performs music and dances form the Andean region (Inca heritage), from the central and northern coasts (Criollo, Hispanic heritage), from the southern coast (Afro-Peruvian, Black heritage), and from the Peruvian Amazon jungle (jungle natives heritage).

Since its onset, “INCA” has gained steadily in artistic excellence and in reputation as one of the west coast’s leading ethnic performing companies. Concerts at the Hollywood Bowl, the Redlands Bowl, The Fresno Civic Auditorium, Zion National Park, El Paso’s El Chamizal Ampitheater, Santa Fe’s Greer Garson Theater, Albuquerque’s S.B.C.C., Colorado State University, Colorado College, etc., are true indicators that the company has a feisty following throughout California and the western states. In ‘93-’94 “INCA” performed at Mingus Auditorium in Cottonwood, AZ; at the Luther Burbank Ctr. for the Performing Arts in Santa Rosa, CA; Saddleback Community College in Mission Viejo, CA; Fiesta Inn in Mesa, AZ.; in ‘95 “INCA” performed at the Detroit Institute of Art, in Lake Tahoe with the Tahoe Arts Project and at the John Anson Ford Theater. In ‘96 INCA hosted a Peruvian Independence Day Festival at the John Anson Ford Theater, performing with famous Peruvian singer Ms. Edith Barr. INCA also performed with Edith Barr in San Francisco and Salt Lake City, Utah. In February of ‘97 INCA performed and conducted workshops and educational presentations at Humboldt State University in Arcata, California, and in ‘98 at U.C. Davis.

“INCA” has also received support from the Cultural Affairs Department of the city of Los Angeles, the California Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, the California Community Foundation, the Arizona Commission on the Arts, the National/State/County Partnership, and various businesses, corporations and individuals in the southern California area.

With the aid of these grants, “INCA” has produced several recordings that contain a cross section of the company’s repertoire. These recordings help the group to preserve some of this ethnic material, which in many cases would be lost otherwise. In December of 1997 “INCA” released “Danzante”. It was sold at various record stores in the Los Angeles area, New York Natural History Museum, the Smithsonian Institution, etc. In 2001 INCA released its latest CD, “Que siga la Farra”, a great collection of Andean songs.

INCA is distinguished among Southamerican ethnic groups because the musicians not only perform music from the mountains of the Andean region, but also from the coast (Hispanic influenced valses, polkas, and Afro-Peruvian rhythms), and from the selva or Peruvian Amazon jungle. They also perform with as many as eight dancers using typical costumes from these various regions.
